[Computer] Minimum. 100. 50. 40. 30. 20. Retard, retard, retard! I’m so happy to be back in Istanbul. This is Ataturk airport – in a few days, the
new airport is going to open and this airport is going to be history with regards to commercial
flights. So I’m here to do some plane spotting and
celebrate this airport before the new airport opens. Let’s go guys! I like this airport because it’s surrounded
by the Marmara sea, which is very blue, and there’s so much exotic traffic. There’s lots and lots of action – you can
see hundreds and hundreds of Turkish Airlines aeroplanes every day. Plus, you get to see all of the exotic traffic
from all over the Middle East, North Africa and northern neighbourhood countries. This is a terrific airport for plane spotting
and it will be sorely missed. This is my friend, Ilgaz – the number one
Turkish spotter! – This place is very popular for me because
it’s a very good position for spotting but me and my friends are very sad because this
airport will be closing very soon. – Yeah, in three days, Ataturk will move to
the new Istanbul airport. Turkish airlines rule the sky here. It’s unbelievable how many planes are in Ataturk
airport. It’s one of the greatest spotting airports
in Turkey. This one is the Libyan A320 from Libyan Airlines
going to Libya. Beautiful! I’m standing in the cold and doing this because
I love doing this! I love aeroplanes, I love spotting – this
is something in my blood! – And where are you from? – I’m from Germany. – From Germany? – From Dusseldorf. – From Dusseldorf you have come to Istanbul
to do all of this? – Yeah.
– For the last time. – Where are you from? – I am from Turkey.
– From Turkey?
– Yeah. – Oh, you are Turkish airlines pilots, right?
– Yeah, yeah. – Yeah, and you have also come to do this
– it’s a beautiful day. This is the best day to do this – this is
a great airport.
– Yeah, it’s perfect and… – Are you going to miss the airport? – Yeah, yeah – we will miss it. Nine years ago I started to fly at that
airport and now I would like to say farewell and thanks for the perfect nine years at that
airport. I will really miss that airport. Yesterday, I came from Baku to Istanbul and
it’s a very emotional day for me to make my last landing at Istanbul Ataturk.
