There are 2 airport terminals in Kuala Lumpur There is a free shuttle service between both the terminals These are the bus ticket counters This ticket costs 11 MYR Its costlier than Delhi Door is called ”Pintu” I am at the level 1 I am going to get a bus ticket On my left are the counters for taxi and rental cars This is another superstore There are 2 airport terminals in KL KLIA & KLIA 2 There is a free shuttle service between both the terminals They are available round the clock after every 10 minutes I am going to get a bus ticket from one of these counters I think these are meant for outstation buses The screen on the passenger side displays the total fare and seat selection I need a ticket for Bandar Tasik Selatan The bus ticket from KLIA 2 to Tasik Selatan costs 11 MYR It is approx 165 INR This is comparatively expensive than India The place where I have to go is around 35 km away from here KLIA 2 is in south of the Kuala Lumpur city Now I am out the main airport building These are the buses going to various places My bus will arrive at Platform number AO3 I forgot how to say ‘thanks’ in the local language Doors are called ‘Pintu’ This is platform number AO3 Is this my bus? I got confused. That was not my bus. I just saw my ticket. My bus operator name is Jetbus I feel things were much organised at airports in Bangkok Here things are quite confusing There was no one at the information desk otherwise, I could have got an idea about few basic things I had to spend a lot of time in getting the information If you have watched my Thailand series, then you must be aware… . … of the information desk at the Don Mueang Airport. They guided me how to reach the city center from the airport Jetbus & Star shuttle are few of the bus service providers Do you remember the meaning of ‘Pintu’ ? So all the people named ‘Pintu’ in India, now you know the meaning of your name in Malay This is so relaxing 🙂 Today I have spent almost entire day at the airport but who cares! I am on leave for 7 days Don’t have any specific plan.. I’ll go wherever or whenever I want I am here since 7 am I feel transportation is quite costly in KL It is comparatively costlier than Delhi If you wish to save money, it takes 12 ringgit from the airport to KL Sentral by bus The waiting room behind me is for outstation bus travellers One can take buses from here to Penang, Perak, Melaka, Pahang, Johor and Singapore My Jet bus is already here and now I am good to go My ticket has bus name (Jet Bus), my seat number and Platform AO3 mentioned on it I can see another Star shuttle bus available there. Now, I am a bit confused here. Apparently that was also not my bus! Finally! Lets board the bus. Seat numbers are not visible to me. I will sit here. This area is quieter than Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports. Roads are broad and traffic is less as compared to those two airports. However, buses are easily available there. Even Free ones. Train station is right in front of those airports. You won’t find it here. There is a toll plaza. These don’t take much time. It was quick! It’s even quicker for cars having smart tags. Wow! what a grade separator I have reached Bandar Tasik Selatan This looks amazing!
